Healthcare Equality?
The standings appropriation bill was introduced and passed out of committee in the Iowa House this week. HSB 674 includes a provision that would require state employees and elected officials to contribute at least 25% of the cost of their health insurance premiums. Iowans for Tax Relief strongly supports reforms that require state employees to contribute towards their healthcare benefits.
