House Committee Revives Proposal Ending Federal Deductibility

On Wednesday, January 27^th, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman, Rep. Paul Shomshor (D-Council Bluffs) assigned House File 807, the bill which eliminates federal deductibility, to a subcommittee.  This action revives the bill to end Iowans' ability to deduct federal income tax payments on their state income tax return.
